"Purchased our car from this establishment three weeks ago. The second I drove the car off of the lot after signing all the paperwork I noticed it had the "maintenance needed" light flashing. Of course I didn't notice this during the test drive, which would have been far more convenient. I called John, my Salesman, at Select Motor Cars, and he explained that I could simply bring it back in the next day to get the oil change done and make things right. He had mentioned before he sold the car that car was up to date on all of it's maintenance so it was only fair that he fix the issue even though I hadn't noticed it until I had already signed the dotted line. This place has lots of excellent cars and most fairly priced. They work within your budget and they really try to find you the car you are interested in even if it isn't currently on their lot. I live about 4.5 hours away from the dealership so it made it a challenge to check it out and go for a test drive before purchasing. I trusted Rafael with this process and I wasn't let down. "I still can't believe the experience I had with select motor cars in Gainesville. I was expecting your standard run of the mill used car dealership experience where you get lied to, tricked into over paying, and inevitably sold a lemon. My salesman, Rafael, was easy going, honest and best of all he did what he said he was going to do in the time frame he said he was going to do it. After buying my truck I had one request for minor body repair and he said he would take care of it. When I got home I realized the tailgate wouldn't stay closed so I sent Rafael a text asking him if he wouldn't mind having that fixed as well. His response? "Absolutely, buddy." and without any sort of push-back my truck got the repairs I asked for the next day and was returned promptly when he said it would be done. That is something I can say does NOT happen very often. I have had my truck for two weeks now, driven down to Orlando and back, inspected it thoroughly and had a few mechanics look at the truck for anything I may have missed. Every one of them said the same thing, that I got a great deal and paid a very competitive price.
